POINT FIXING
Point fixings are often the ideal solution when continuous aluminium profiles cannot be used due to the type of substrate or the specific application.
In the cases mentioned below, the floor layers have already been finished, making it impossible to achieve a stable anchorage afterwards. It is not possible to anchor into insulation or screed, and lateral anchoring into the concrete layer—located 180mm below floor level—is simply inaccessible. Additionally, a buildup of dust and debris would occur between the glass panel and the floor, which would be difficult to clean

What is possible ?
With our point fixings FGR-6040 (diam. 40) or FGR-6050 (diam. 50), it is still possible to anchor into the concrete layer. Since there is no continuous profile, the space between the glass and the floor can be cleaned without any problems afterwards. The distance between them will be at least 25mm |
NOT JUST POINT FIXING !

We offer point fixings in 2 diameters:

Just like the rest of our range, we are highly critical regarding the ease of use and quality we aim to provide.
Our point fixings FGR-6040 and FGR-6050 are characterized by their user-friendliness. Not only do the slotted holes allow us to adapt the anchoring to the specific site conditions, but we can also adjust the depth by approximately 5mm. This enables us to align the glass perfectly forward or backward when two point fixings are placed vertically with a center-to-center distance of 150mm |

EDGE DISTANCES
|
First and foremost, please note that due to the drill holes, toughened (tempered) glass must always be used. We distinguish between drill holes located in the corners and those at the straight edges of the glass. Corners The rule is 6.5 x the glass thickness for the distance between the hole and the corner edge.
Straight edge The rule is 2 x the glass thickness for the distance between the hole and the straight edge of the glass (not in a corner).

We recommend a distance of 150mm between the two point fixings

CUSTOM-MADE
As standard, our FGR-6040 (diam. 40) and FGR-6050 (diam. 50) feature standoffs of 25mm or 40mm.
In some cases, it may be useful to have a larger standoff to bridge certain spans. You can also count on us for custom standoffs up to a maximum of 130mm upon request
